So fresh.

Recently I grabbed an old Communication Arts magazine I had lying around and took a look at it, and found a couple of great photographers in the magazine. I took a quick second searching them online to see if they had online portfolios and figured I’d link a few of the ones I found.

carmack

This first site I found is that of photographer David Carmack. The site looks as if it hasn’t been updated in five years, however the photos included on the site are amazing. He has a eye for taking very presentable photos with a mixture of vibrant colors or in some cases, chooses to use a monochromatic visual aesthetic, which works real well for some of his photos.

edward gajdel

Edward Gajdel is a very successful Canadian photographer who specializes in “portraits of people of distinction,” as CA suggests. The site itself is finely crafted and includes some great portraits of celebrities most of us would recognize.

paolo marchesi

Finally, my favorite of the group is reknowned photographer Paolo Marchesi. His pictures, mainly falling into the categories of the outdoors, landscapes, and adventure, have an in your face appeal to them. The pictures are packed full of energy and leave the viewer to believe they’re almost partaking in the event captured on film. The site is worth a visit, as it includes plenty of photos to click through.

“…photographer David Carmack. The site looks as if it hasn’t been updated in five years, however the photos included on the site are amazing…” Ouch! I appreciate the compliments to my work and I’m happy to report that my site has been updated! Thanks for finding it.
