Are you kidding me!? This packaging absolutely blows me away. Please take a look at my Eleven Magazine post, which goes much further in depth about the sneakers. It’s a simply amazing approach to personalizing a classic sneaker (produced by Concepts).

To satisfy any slight craving for spending money would only be worthy of a trip to NotCot is a great artistic community that posts several goodies on their blog and is also connected with (users can post pictures and posts on the blog), as well as NotCouture which focuses solely on fashion. There are some great little knick knacks all over each link, but that’s not to say they have a cheap price tag. So if you have a wad of cash, some spare time to surf the web, and a great eye for design, NotCot is calling your name.

The experienced design veterans known as Mutabor have made their mark on the design game. The site shows a great amount of Mutabor’s collection of work and if you’re a designer and you have a few extra books, I highly recommend the books they’ve published because they’re great for inspiration.

Mutabor has also been responsible for the design of Adidas’ new virtual venture in the way of purchasing shoes. It’s possibly the next generation of shoe shopping, since you’ll never have to try them on and you can customize they via LCD screen and touch-sensitivity. Check out Adidas’ innovative video here.

Looks like I was lucky enough to find another Sue Teller video on YouTube, in which America’s hippest grandma shows you how to customize your own kicks. When was the last time you heard a grandma say things like, “dope,” “sweet ass,” and “peace out?” You’re right…never.

Check out my past blog entry where she tells you how to mix a beat! It’s a riot, click here.
