Do yourself a favor and crank the volume on your unit. The audio and motion graphics match so perfectly in this clip, it’s quite mesmerizing.

Dustin Humphrey aka D Hump is considered one of the surf-world’s “most forward thinking photographers,” and the work he’s done for Insight51 is absolutely incredible. To understand a little more about the series entitled Dopamine, shot by Humphrey, be sure to take a look at PhotoShelter’s review of the work.
With an extraordinary understanding of his material of choice and a fine attention to detail, Chris Gilmour’s cardboard constructions are quite compelling.
I was following the Soft & Furry contest for some time, as I planned to participate as well, however procrastination got the best of me. I was happy to look and see a nicely redesigned website with an announcement of the winner. The winner is illustrator Markham Maes aka Shitty Kitten who’s combination of design and illustration turned out to be a great compliment to one another. Maes seems to have a great amount of talent as his splash page on his “soon to be launched” website speaks truthfully for such a notion. Be sure to click around the Soft & Furry site as they will be releasing their toys in September and be on the lookout for the full launch of Shitty Kitten as well.

I can’t stop watching this video. I’ve been a big fan of Grizzly Bear for some time now, but I haven’t indulged myself with their live/acoustic performances and I’m not sure why. The harmonies and setting are impeccable in this clip, enjoy.

Conceptually astounding work from Gregor Timlin. His homeless shelter and copter light are just a couple of great pieces to an interesting grouping of work on his website.
